Yes, there's no logout button in LAMS.

And as far as I know, it has never been one.

The reason for this is the integrations. Once you use LAMS with other servers logouts are a painful issue. For instance, say you use LAMS & Moodle. The way the integration works is that LAMS becomes a "slave" of Moodle (for all user management and course admin purposes). So if you login into Moodle and the click to open a LAMS sequence (in LAMS of course), LAMS will log you in automatically and launch the sequence. Even if your user doesn't exist in LAMS, it will be created on the fly.

Now, you have the situation where you have two systems that to the end user (learner) they seem like one. What happen if you logout from one and not the other? Then the whole nightmare starts. Say you logout of LAMS and not Moodle. LAMS would kick you out to Moodle, but since you are already in Moodle, you won't need to asked to login again!... so it might end up being very confusing.

Nevertheless, we should have a logout button for standalone LAMS. We'll work on that for our future releases.

As of now, closing the browser is the only way to logout completely.
