Ken Udas from Penn State University recently invited me to be part of a series of blog posts on open education. My posting went up a few days ago - it starts with a general overview of Learning Design, and then has some reflections on licensing issues for shared Learning Designs (arising from debate about the term "Open Source Teaching").
Some of the followup comments have touched on the licensing issues further; and in one responses I've considered some possible reasons for the slow adoption of Learning Design in general. You can find the posting and comments at http://blog.worldcampus.psu.edu/index.php/2007/05/16/learning-design-and-open-source-teaching/ I'd welcome contributions from anyone in the LAMS Community either on the blog or here.
