Dear Bronwen,
The 6 thinking hats sequence was delivered as a whole class lesson when I did it using the Smartboard as this was the 1st time my little ones had been introduced to de Bono. We made our decision about answers as a whole class and then I typed them in. The sequence on the community site I modified slightly so it could be done individually. I find notebook useful for modelled lessons as the group are able jot down collective ideas then discuss and decide which one we feel best answer the question etc. It is great for the little ones while they are sorting out the thinking process and encourages them to not just answer with the first thing they think of but then to analysis and evaluate (in their way) the answer they think is best. Thanks for the feedback Cheers Karen Posted by Karen May |
