Here's an idea that I thought I'd float out to the LAMS community for comment:

What about a 'timed activity' feature in LAMS?

I'm currently putting together a "brain burst" sequence for the activity planner, and I think it would be awesome to have some sort of time limit on the Chat activity, so that Learner's are generating ideas to a time constraint.

The Assessment activity already supports a time limit, but what I'm looking for is to create a timer for the synchronous chat. Perhaps when the timer finishes, the chat locks up.
