I am trying to install LAMS on my Windows PC to trial it. I have installed Java 1.4.2_04 and Mysql Server 5.0.

However when I try to access http://localhost:8080/ or http://localhost:8080/lams I get 'No context configured to process this request'. The server log shows a 'MAPPING configuration error for request URI /' for example.

I have checked the forum but still not managed to find a solution.

Any ideas please?

Hi John,

The 'no context configured to process this request' is normal when you try to access http://localhost:8080 - LAMS is accessed by http://localhost:8080/lams. Was MySQL running when you started LAMS?

Could you post your boot.log and server.log? They're located in the C:\lams\jboss\server\default\log directory, assuming you installed to C:\lams.

Yes MySQL was running when I started LAMS.

The lams.war isn't being deployed - even after seeing the logs, I'm not sure why. The file should be deployed if it is in the C:/lams/jboss/server/default/deploy folder. Did it work at all after you installed it? Did you use the installer, or install manually? Has anything changed in the jboss config apart from the initial setup?
