Hi, I have installed in the _same_ computer sakai 2.0.0 and LAMS 1.0.2.
I have carefully followed the installation instrucions from [1] and [2]. I have installed java 1.4.2, and tomcat 5.5.17 with the compatibility patch required to work properly with that version of java. Tomcat is listening in the port 8080. LAMS is installed in port 8085 (to avoid port problems).

I detected some trouble when LAMS was already running and I start tomcat, because they both want to bind to port 8009. I changed tomcat to use port 8089, but the problem still is there:
I go to http://localhost:8080/mercury
Then, I login with admin. I can see the link "sakai.lams", but when I click on it, I see nothing but a blank page.

I am not sure what to do. As I said, I have read several times the installation instructions... I guess that the problem may be related to the fact that I am using the same computer for both systems, but I am not sure.

Please let me know if you need any log or any other information.

Thanks a lot in advance,
Maxi

Hi Maxi Combina,

When you click on 'sakai.lams', you should see a row at the top with the links 'create, edit, monitor, author' - at this stage, the integration link need not be configured correctly for this to appear, so long as the sakai-lams-module is properly deployed.

i'm not sure if the module was tested on sakai 2.0.0, is there anyway you could use 2.0.1?

fwiw, i think you should be able to run them on the same machine fine.

Regards,
