Just follow the linux installation instructions. If you choose Ubuntu, then use the Ubuntu installer.

I'm sorry to bother you , in fact I would like to understand the system to use it for my student .
I enter the the download page now :-
1- download the package Ubuntu installer >
2- upload the package to my server by using ftp.
3- Unzip the file .
are these the correct way to install it ?

Hi Zuheir,
No worries.
You will need to get access to the server console or be able to open a terminal on the server (usually thru SSH).
If you are using a VPS, you should be able to get SSH access to it. Once you get SSH access, you will be able to follow the instructions on the installer.
Perhaps, if you are not familiar with unix commands, try to see if you can get someone that has experience on unix to help you out as it might be a bit daunting for a newbie
