What are you trying to do?

I'm not so sure what you mean with "email ink in user group"

Actually, i did the SMTP mail configuration in LAMS.but i am unable to see the Email link. Please find the below link and have a look at it.

when i logged as sysadmin, i should able to see the email link in user management.

Please let me know if you are not clear or you need anyother information.

Hi Gopinath,

Sorry this feature is for the next LAMS release 2.4.

http://bugs.lamsfoundation.org/browse/LDEV-2089

This version is not available yet. I'll change the wiki page to reflect this.

However, LAMS uses the SMTP server for its own notifications: like forgotten password, tell students that the teacher has marked assignments, etc.
