Hi I install the system on my personal computer which connected with network , I try to run it through the below link :- http://localhost:8080/lams but not work , these statments written in the page :- type Status report message /lams description The requested resource (/lams) is not available. but I can run it from start menue :- C:\lams\index.html Please how can I solve the problem thank you in advance Posted by zuheir khlaif

Sorry , I closed all applications and I try again it works , but when I try to access to http://localhost:8080/lams from another computer on the network the page not found , how can I access it on network . Posted by zuheir khlaif

That's because localhost is 127.0.0.1, which means "This computer" and not a computer in the network See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Localhost If you want to access your LAMS server from another computer in the network you should use the IP of the computer where the LAMS server is installed. Additionally, you need to change the Server URL variable. Login in you LAMS server as sysadmin, go to the Sysadmin menu and then click on "Edit Configuration Settings". In there, look for the server URL and replace the http://localhost:8080/lams/ to http://{your-server-ip-here}:8080/lams/ Thanks, ernie Posted by Ernie Ghiglione
