The MySQL root password password is incorrect. Check the lams.properties file and change the DB_ROOT_PASSWORD

Hi, i´m trying to install LAMS 2.3 in a windows 2008 "VPS", the mysql server have not a user "root", instead have a user called "psaclient", the server support team tells to me its imposible to have a user "root" on my server, there`s a way to select the name of my root user (psaclient)in the LAMS installer?
Thanks a lot for your help...

Hmmm... I don't think we ever thought about this (a mysql server without root user).

So this is not good as you won't be able to use the Windows installer as in order to create the database, it assumes mysql has a root password.

Perhaps you can build LAMS from source?

Thanks,

Ernie
