Hi, I would like to take my lams db backup. I have taken normal sql file, can you please some one guide me how to take a backup as blob file or something. will normal sql file will work while restoring in the db or not. Thanks in advance. Gopinath.M Posted by gopinath mohanraj

Have a look here: http://is.gd/dAqxQ You need to backup the database using mysqldump. Also zip the content of: * jboss-4.0.2/server/default/deploy/lams.ear/lams-www.war/secure * and your repository folder (see in Sysadmin -> Edit configuration details to find the path for Repository folder).
