Forum LAMS for Tech-Heads - General Forum: Syrvey_tool on LAMS 2.3.4 has a problem

Hi Spyros,

I didn't have any problems open it in Author (see picture).

Also, I was able to run it as learner without any problems. If you still have this issue once you login again, please send me the screenshot.

The print button is a new feature as some LAMS users wanted to have a way for learners to keep a "certificate" that they had finish a sequence though. I hope that makes sense.

1. Log in on translations server as test1/test1
2. Author- Open the activity "Syrvey_tool_has_problems_see_this_example" from the Public Folder.
3. Just, click on the survey tool and you will see receive a System Error see the attachment.

I am trying the same activity in LAMS 2.3.4 server today and the System Error does not occur!
Yesterday, I had two different teacher-authors complained about it and I have seen the problem.

But, when i'm trying now, again on translation server i can repeat the error-message. Try by yourself.

The activity is running but I'm not sure if a big number of students add data the activity hold it.
I remember we have problems in the past with this issue have you solve them?

The print button is good idea but I think its better to keep and the "Next Activity" or "Finished" button for students the do not like to keep a certification that they have finish.
