Hi Charlie,
There could be a problem if your LAMS site uses an internal URL that cannot be accessible from the internet. Pixlr uses an your LAMS server URL to retrieve the image and load it so students can modify it. However, if your Server URL is not available from the internet perhaps because it runs on an internet or with an internal domain, then Pixlr won't be able to retrieve this easily.
