G'day Michael, LAMS 1.1 uses hibernate, which in principle allows you to use almost any database you need//want. About a month ago, Yoichi did an analisys to migrate to Postgres and we concluded that while it wasn't trivial, it wasn't really hard either. The main tasks of a port are: * Port the creation sql scripts to the another db (datamodel shemas) * and do some minor changes in the configuration scripts (also some tuning wouldn't be a bad idea) At the moment, we will continue with MySQL, but it will be great if someone in the community can help out with these ports in the future.
