Hi, I'm trying to install LAMS 2.3.5 on Windows XP. I use Explorer 7 and I'v already installed the latest version of Java, but when I choose the install location it appears this message: "Could not find a Java JDK 1.5 or 1.6 installation. Please enter where you have Java 5 or 6 installed". Shouldn't it find the location of Java automatically? Thank you! Valentina Posted by Valentina Gullà

Hi Valentina, > I've already installed the latest version of Java Make sure that what you install is the Sun Java JDK. I believe you might have installed Java JRE (runtime environment). You can get this from here: http://goo.gl/qKmd4 Once you have installed this, the LAMS installer should be able to detect it. Thanks, Ernie Posted by Ernie Ghiglione
