Any suggestions?

Hi Spyros,

Can you login into this server as sysadmin and check the "EAR Directory" setting? (see Edit configuration settings in sysadmin menu).

Is LAMS installed in a linux server, right?

Yes it is a linux server.

EAR Directory
/usr/share/jboss-5.1/server/default/deploy/lams.ear/

I can confirm the bug with the Debian installer.
