Here's an installation animation for LAMS2 from the very very beginning.

Are you able to see the LAMS login page? Is LAMS set to automatically start when the computer restarts?

You don't need a separate mysql to use LAMS and Moodle, the way you have installed it is correct. So it might be that LAMS hasn't started automatically.

If you think it has started, but you aren't getting the login page, then could you attached the LAMS logs?

You can zip up the log files and attached them to a post here. You can find these logs at

C:\lams2\jboss-4.0.2\server\default\log\

Replace C:\lams2 with whatever directory you chose to install LAMS to.
