I just installed LAMS v 2.1 on Opensuse 11.0 sucessfully via the lams-unix-installer. I'm running it to test authoring sequences and to integrate it with Moodle 1.9.
I have changed the server port on localhost to 8180 as tcp was using 8080. I have however the same problem that when clicking on the authoring page I just get a blank screen while it says: "Waiting for localhost..." in the left hand bottom corner. Having installed Flash player version 9 via YAST (OpenSuse's GUI for installing software) I have disabled the pop-up blocker. This doesn't fix the problem though. A right-hand click with the mouse into the active authoring window will show me the Adobe Flash player options. I have had a look at Fiona's post about deleting cache files and have done that but to no avail. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?? Posted by Ulf-Wedig v. der Osten |
