Marc was right, now the next issue...

Thanks to the folks here we've finally got LAMS working and have since followed the configuration instructions from:
http://wiki.lamsfoundation.org/display/lamsdocs/dotLRNbut

But when I attempt to add a LAMS Lesson through dotlrn I now get the error below, any ideas?

Thanks,
Geoff

Hey Geoff,

I have attached the latest dotlrn-LAMS packages. Untar the attached file in your dotlrn/packages folder (please back up that folder first just in case) and then restart dotlrn.

That should get rid of this problem.

Thanks,

Ernie

Hi Ernie,

That did get rid of the verbose error message, now I'm getting a configuration error

"We had a problem with your input:

It seems that your LAMS2 - .LRN Configuration isn't working. Please check the integration configuration and try again. HTTP Response is: 500

Please back up using your browser, correct the above error, and resubmit your entry.

Thank you."

On the LAMS Administration panel, there isn't an 'Organisation' option showing, though on the wiki it indicates that is a required field...

Also:

When I go back to dotlrn to try and work on the LAMS configuration files, I get Not Found errors for the /lams2conf link & the /lams2int-portlet link.

Not sure if any of these are causes or effects, but hoping something in there will help figure out why I can't seem to get LAMS working for us in our .LRN implementation.

Thanks,
Geoff

Hi Geoff,

When you go to your http://your-dotlrn-server.com/admin/site-map/ and click on the parameters for the lams2conf package. What do you get?

Does it show you a page to configure the details for the LAMS site? (you should be seeing something like the attached pic)

Thanks,

Ernie

Hi Ernie,

It does give me that page (see attached jpg).

A thought, would it be easier/quicker for you from a process perspective to give you admin privileges on our server so you can run through all the configuration and file structures?

Thanks,
Geoff
