Hello all,
I am attempting to run the Sharepoint-LAMS integration. I followed the instructions from the below LAMS foundation page: http://wiki.lamsfoundation.org/display/lamsdocs/Microsoft+Windows+SharePoint+Server+3.0 I configured the Sharepoint and LAMS side as per the instructions. I've installed the feature successfully and the LAMS Lesson List appears in Sharepoint in the Quick Action bar. When I click on New Item, I get the following error : "Problem accessing learning design repository, please contact your system administrator" When I click on Open Author, I get the following login failure from Apache: "HTTP Status 502 - Login Failed - failed to fetch user info from the third party server" - Does the user have to be pre-configured in the LAMS database so it matches the sharepoint user that is passed via the request ? I have downloaded the LAMS-Sharepoint integration code from CVS but I can't deduce from the this code alone how the authentication is working on the LAMS side. I reference the below explanation on how the LAMS-Moodle integration works. Does the Sharepoint-LAMS integration work in a similar fashion? "Once the hash is verified, then LAMS does the authentication and basically accepts the user request. But now LAMS has to check whether this user does actually exists on its database. So it quickly searches the uid. If it exists, then let the user go straight to the sequence. If she doesn't, then LAMS queries the LAMS-Moodle module for the basic user info, so it can create a record for her in LAMS. Once it gets the data from Moodle, creates a record and adds the user to the LAMS class." Many thanks, Posted by Praveen Pawar |
