Hi everybody!

I had installed Apache in my PC on port 8080, so I had problems with the installation of LAMS because the default port was the same. For this reason, I changed the server.xml and I put the port 8180 (not used, I make a new exception for the firewall).

Even so, I am having problems because when I enter to LAMs with my login and I open my 'author', the Activities Toolkit doesn't appear, why? o_O

Possible reasons:

Is flash installed in your browser?
Is the ServerURL parameter updated with the 8180 port? (Login as sysadmin and click Sysadmin, Edit Configuration Details).

Thanks for your fast answer!

Yes, Adobe Flash Player 10.0.22.87 for Firefox.
And the ServerURL I think that's updated too.

This is my screenshot...

By any chance did you build lams from source and forget to deploy any tools?

Are there any errors in the lams logs? /path/to/jboss/server/default/log/server.log, lams.log

You could also try clearing the flash player cache - follow the steps here to find the folder where these are located, then restarted browser. http://wiki.lamsfoundation.org/display/lamsdocs/Troubleshooting#Troubleshooting-%26nbsp%3BFlashClientsNotUpdatingorMysteriouslyCrashingWhenLoading%3AFlashGettingStuck
