yes 404 error.

that was my full server.log content in my attachment.

i made some changes n seems have an improvement.

i put my url in windows hosts file pointing to my
linux host. Now when I access http://lams.dev:8080/lams
(my new url ) i get the following message on the browser :

-----------------------------
HTTP Status 404 - /lams

type Status report

message /lams

description The requested resource (/lams) is not available.
Apache Tomcat/5.5.9
-------------------------------

if using apache seem i dont have my web root folder !

if i access http://lams.dev:8080 i get the somekind of jboss community screen ( orange n white page color ).

googling further i get a clue by 'Connection refused'.

looking my server.log in jboss dir ... i got the same
symptom.

i start the lams with the mysql service down ... thas why.

so i fireup the mysql service, stop the lams and start
the lams again ... i got the LAMS login page ... thanx
God.

but ... what is the login id n password ??? hmmm

Hi Shin,

The username and password are set in the lams.properties file. If you didn't modify this, by default it is:

u: sysadmin
p: sysadmin

from lams.properties file ... you can find it there :)
-> sysadmin : sysadmin

... may in future some may use this walkthrough.
