Ernie,
I have look at the animated tutorial and checked my system carefully,but I really can't find the botton "add lesson".

Hi Wei,

That's because your user Sara does not have teacher permissions in any of the courses.

In order to give Sara teacher permission in a course, login as sysadmin and go to course management, select the course you want Sara to have teacher rights and then add Sara as a Author and Monitor, save and now login as Sara and you should be able to see the button to add lessons.
