Hi Greg,
If LAMS was intalled successfully in your server, you'll be able to see the "Start LAMS server" icon in your desktop, as well as the login to LAMS shortcut. You can also open a browser and type: and that should do the trick. From remote desktops, if they want to use that LAMS server, you just need to give them the domain name for that machine (instead of localhost). The windows installer has been tested in Windows 2000 Professional. The LAMS server as installed by the installers is the usual plain vanilla LAMS. If you want to enhance its performance, have a look at this posting by Jun-Dir, as he has set up quite a scalable LAMS servers in various platforms. Ernie Posted by Ernie Ghiglione |
