Thinking about this a bit more, I believe I know what might be causing the issue.
Windows 7 and other WIndows 64 bits versions use a different command to write/delete entries in the system registry.
So I believe the problem is that when trying to uninstall LAMS 2.3.5, because the 2.3.5 installers is only 32 bits, the commands to uninstall simply don't work.
jv16 powertools might deal with this by removing these entries that are not longer there.
