Description:

The devastation of forests constitutes a grim reality, which tends to take on ever greater dimensions; that is, the existence of trees, specifically, is remarkably important and vital for life.

In this sequence, it is significant to highlight the causes that lead to their destruction, but also the decisive contribution of human to their rescue. Students will be informed, reflect and then propose solutions to this very serious issue.

Learning outcomes

Students should:

1.Reflect on the important issue of forest destruction and develop their critical thinking skills.
2.Relate their views, discuss and receive feedback.
3.Understand basic concepts related to the subject and develop their artistic skills.
4.Exchange views and think critically about the possibility of the total disappearance of trees through the use of technology.
5.Suggest proposals/solutions to forest destruction through the creation of comic strips.
6.Report their impressions.

That's why, in our days, people must have some useful skills. Some of the 21st century skills are
critical thinking, communication,collaboration,creativity,environmental literacy,ICT literacy,leadership & responsibility,social skills and life skills.
